Xanthogranulomatous Inflammation of Myometrium Causing Pelvic Extension: Report of Two Cases

Background: Xanthogranulomatous inflammation of the female reproductive organs is a rare chronic inflammation. In most reported cases, lesion was limited to endometrium and fallopian tubes. Here, we report two cases xanthogranulomatous myometrium with history endometrial biopsy. Case Reports: myometrial destroyed myometrium. This developed into surrounding pelvic organs, resulting in uterine perforation. Conclusion: When inflammatory lesions are found after intrauterine manipulation, possibility developing should be considered. If antibiotics ineffective, prompt surgical treatment necessary.
